Power-to-gas (PtX) technology use electricity (from renewable energy, like windmills) to convert water into hydrogen and oxygen, where hydrogen is subsequently used as a feedstock for manufacturing fuels and chemicals.

Come discuss the potentials of one of the new green technologies in Denmark’s pursuit of 2030 and 2050 goals on climate.

Karsten Uhd Plauborg from Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (and a former graduate from MSc Forest and Nature Management) will describe what perspectives the private sector pursue when investing in green transition technologies, and provide some recent examples.

Jette Bredahl Jacobsen, professor and deputy chairman of the Danish Climate Change Council, will describe the possible role of these technologies in the overall climate policies.

All are invited to join this online event.
