Økonomisk Eksploratorium #15 on Development Economics

More children are going to school in low-income countries, does that equal better learning? How can economists use satellite images to measure climate change resilience in Ethiopia? Why are there so many different approaches to measuring inequality?

At our next Økonomisk Eksploratorium we’ll zoom in on Development Economics. Kasper Brandt, Peter Fisker and Finn Tarp will each make a short presentation and afterwards there will be time for questions and discussion. Please find more information on the presentations below.

Together with Politrådet, the Department of Economics arrange a couple of these events each semester in order to give students a chance to get a glimpse of current research at the Department of Economics. Our event is open for both students, employees and everybody with an interest in economics.
