Open up your Academic Publishing Toolbox - a course for PhD students at SUND/SCIENCE

Copenhagen University Library offers the PhD course Open Up Your Academic Publishing Toolbox three times in the fall 2021 for PhD students from SUND & SCIENCE. Course participation is credited with 1 ECTS.

As participant, you will gain insight into different facets regarding research publishing, and you will be introduced to practical tools that you can use in your PhD project and additional research activities.

The following themes will be presented in the course:​​

• Copyright in publishing
• Creative Commons licenses
• Open access publishing
• Responsible metrics and evaluation of researchers
• Research impact and evaluation
• Management and optimization of researcher profiles
• Data management and the FAIR principles

The course is a combination of presentations, discussions and exercises. The course is held in English.

As PhD student, you will be credited with 1 ECTS after participation.
Academic staff (VIP) is also welcome to attend the course.
