It is a great pleasure for the Faculty of Law to invite all interested parties to LL.M. Arina Melse’s public defence of her thesis entitled:

Inherent Powers of the European Court of Human Rights: Part of the Judicial Function of an International Public Authority

The thesis has been evaluated by a committee consisting of:

  • Professor George Ulrich (chair), Riga Graduate School of Law, Latvia
  • Professor Mikael Rask Madsen, Faculty of Law, University of Copenhagen, Denmark
  • Former judge Françoise Tulkens, Member of the Kosovo Human Rights Advisory Panel, Belgium

The public defence takes place on Monday 9 October 2017 at 11:00 in Nanna Berg Auditorium 9A-1-01, Njalsgade 76, 1 floor, DK – 2300 Copenhagen S.

After the defence Arina Melse and the Faculty of Law will host a reception in meeting room 6B-4-04, Njalsgade 76, 4 floor, DK-2300 Copenhagen S.
