Humanomics Research Centre (at Aalborg University, Copenhagen) welcomes you to our first Open Research Seminar this year: ‘Quantity versus Quality in Danish Science Journalism’, presented by Gunver Lystbæk Vestergård.

In her presentation Vestergård will talk about scientific news in the public sphere, with base in her business Ph.D. She has examined science news in closed and open media markets, as well as print and online science news.

Gunver Lystbæk Vestergård is cand.public and ph.d. in science communication, and works as a journalist. She writes about various forms of science, especially physics, astronomy, spacetravel and history of science. Gunver is co-author of the book ’50 Opfindelser’ (’50 Inventions’), and co-organizer of the DR-series ‘Store danske videnskabsfolk’ (‘Great Danish Scientists’).

As a journalist Gunver has worked for Weekendavisen, Illustreret Videnskab, Jyllandsposten, Århus Stiftstidende, Videnskab.dk, and others.
