Glitter cheeks and frothy beer: See the pictures from the KU Festival

The lawn between the different departments on North Campus is usually pretty non-descript. But once a year it gets taken over, and worked over. It happened recently at the KU Festival – and the University Post was there to take pictures.

When the KU Festival 2022 moved on to the lawn with the students and staff from the University of Copenhagen, there was glitter on people’s cheeks, frothy beer in plastic glasses, and hundreds of new and old friends.

The green agenda was on the programme. In the tents there was climate speed dating for those who think that the climate has got »too hot,« a climate panel to clarify the big environmental dilemmas of life, and cider tasting made from the golden droplets from the University of Copenhagen’s Pometum orchard.

On stage, the Katinka Band opened, followed by Benjamin Hav, Iris Gold and Spleen United.

As you can see, the University Post had set up a makeshift photo booth, and if you don’t get infected by the frothy atmosphere of the festival, you are a lost cause.

We’re already looking forward to next year.
