University of Copenhagen management wants to internally redistribute funding for research and education. This may be the biggest change at UCPH in recent years.
Researchers at University of Copenhagen (UCPH) have received a approximately DKK 15 billion for 5,092 different ongoing research projects. The newsroom has taken a look at 14 projects that made us think: What? Do they also give money to UCPH?
Ten major foundations have granted 11.8 out of a total of DKK 15 billion to ongoing research projects at the University of Copenhagen. But the money is not just a blessing.
Universities need to get a growing share of their funding for research themselves. And if you look at the list of the ten largest contributors, the researchers at the University of Copenhagen seem to be good at it.
The Novo Nordisk Foundation has granted a total of DKK 360 million from the foundation's Challenge Programme, divided into six different projects. Three of the recipients are UCPH researchers.
