Fired professor says that students needed to focus on thinking and learning rather than getting top grades. Aalborg University management did not agree.
It would be heavy on resources and awkward to introduce a new grade scale in Denmark, says University of Copenhagen prorector Bente Stallknecht. An evaluation shows that the Danish 7-point scale is internationally compatible, but that it requires added explanations.
Psychology is yet again at the top of the list with the highest required grade point average of the University of Copenhagen (UCPH). The grade requirements for the top 10 programmes have generally gone up.
