Most new students on higher education programmes are women. And individual subjects are dominated by specific genders. Here are the numbers.
It is »crazy« how gender-skewed the Danish education system is. And this has serious consequences, both for higher education and for society. This is according to several organisations who now all call for action.
Record applicant numbers have meant higher admissions on almost all of the faculties at the University of Copenhagen. Yet again this year, the majority of new students are women.
The highest university admission requirements are significantly lower than last year in Denmark. This is after students no longer get a bonus for quickly starting their studies.
