How are religious actors in Africa relating to growing environmental concerns and changing weather patterns? This seminar aims to discuss the role of spiritual ecologies and religious motivations in response to climate change. By engaging the religious foregrounds and backgrounds in articulations of eco-spiritual piety and practice, we invite to a debate on the interplay between contextual circumstances, history and religious interpretation that today unfolds in green religious activism.

Reception following the seminar.
