As humans we instinctively react to news. We look up when things happen. But we don’t have an instinct for reporting and sharing news systematically. This is something we have to learn.
Mike Young, the former Editor of the University Post, will reveal some of the tricks of the trade based on his experience in managing newsrooms and reporting science and research.
He will show you how to cut through the noise and find field-specific tailored news via desktops and smartphones, and off screen in connection with meetings and events.
You can read a little bit about the methods I will introduce in this article here: How to keep track of news in your own scientific field
The seminar is open to all scientists, students and communications professionals at the University of Copenhagen.
