The Graduate Programme Surgical Sciences is organizing an exciting course on challenges in the surgical Randomized Control Trials that will take place in Copenhagen on 30-31 May 2022.

The main focus points of the course are:

  • Understand the design of Randomized clinical trials in Surgery and identify crucial points in design selection.
  • Gain in depth insight into how to perform patient selection when designing an RCT within the surgical field.
  • Understand the variation in designs depending on the use of translational methodologies or proxies for clinical outcomes.
  • Use patient reported outcomes (PRO) in RCT’s.
  • Get a thorough understanding of the use of generic or disease specific PROs.
