Create inspiring events together

At the ‘Towards Urban Sustainability’ program you have the opportunity to create exciting debates, talks, company visits, workshops etc. with a focus on sustainable cities -together with other students.

The topic is wide-ranging and you can i.e. work with urban planning, waste, transportation, architecture, consumption such as clothing, food, energy, etc.

INTRO MEETING
Intro meeting, September 13, 18-20.30, including dinner
Here you will get an introduction to the topic, the program and the possibilities, meet the other volunteers and get into a small group to develop an activity together.

We will have a speaker visiting from City of Copenhagen talking about Urban sustainability, and how to engage the citizens in changing the city towards sustainability.

There will also be a workshop, September 17, 12.00-18.00
The workshop is mandatory for participating in the program. At the workshop, you will be introduced to a number of tools you will need to plan and execute the activity you and your group agree to do. You will learn about event planning, project management and innovation, among other things.
– There will be free food and drinks both days –

Participation is free of charge.

After September 17th, you and your team will work on completing the activity you’ve chosen.
