Signe Krogstrup has a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, a PhD in International Economics from Geneva, and was, among other things, Deputy Director of Switzerland’s central bank and adviser to the International Monetary Fund before she became Governor of Danmarks Nationalbank in 2019.

She holds a professorship in Political Science, has previously been part of the management at London School of Economics, and has advised political decisionmakers as an expert on EU-issues.
