The recipient of the Ester Boserup Prize for Research on Development 2026 is Nancy Fraser, Henry A. and Louise Loeb Professor Emerita of philosophy and politics at the New School for Social Research.
At the upcoming Ester Boserup Prize event on 6 May, Nancy Fraser will receive her award and give a lecture titled “Three Faces of Labor: Uncovering the Hidden Ties between Gender, Race, and Class”.
Widely known for her work on the relation between redistribution and recognition in the theory of justice, Nancy Fraser works now on the relation of capitalism to racial oppression, social reproduction, ecological crisis, feminist movements, and the rise of rightwing populism.
The event is open to all, no registration required.
